The Federal Government has raised expectations for a nationwide 24-hour uninterrupted power supply.
The Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, provided this assurance while speaking to journalists after attending the Eid Kabir prayers at Adeoyo praying ground in Ibadan South West local government area on Sunday.
He revealed that the various reforms undertaken by President Bola Tinubu’s administration aim to alleviate the suffering of the populace.
Adelabu added that in the near future, the country would start to experience a 24-hour uninterrupted power supply.
He stated that once all reforms and transformations in the power sector are completed, the situation will drastically improve.
“We need the patience, confidence, and trust of the people in those appointed to power, and we will not disappoint them,” he said.
The Minister also urged for prayers to support Tinubu in achieving his national goals. He emphasized that the President and his cabinet are dedicated to improving conditions for Nigerians.
Addressing the temporary economic challenges, he described them as sacrifices necessary to secure lasting benefits under Tinubu’s administration, aiming to transform Nigeria into a nation of our aspirations.
“We must be prepared to sacrifice, trust, and believe in Tinubu’s leadership. The difficulties we face today will pave the way for a brighter tomorrow as the President diligently strives to restore our standing among nations,” he said.
